Using the same headphone output stage as the flagship A49 amplifier, it is capable of driving even the most demanding of headphones. The meticulous engineering further reduces jitter while concentrating on isolating the D/A stages, ultra-low noise power supplies and a direct couple signal path.
To connect, there is an asynchronous USB port, two SPDIF and two optical ports. The USB input supports sample rates up to 384kHz, coaxial supports up to 192kHz and the optical is up to 96kHz. Wireless streaming is also available via Bluetooth and the supplied IR remote can control all these inputs.
The DAC fully supports high resolution 24-bit/192kHz and DSD128 audio file format and is fitted inside a smart cast-aluminium, anti-vibration case to complete the package.
