The Blackline X118 is a compact, high performance subwoofer for use with BlacklineX Series full-range loudspeakers. It extends the low frequency operating range of the combined system to 42Hz and provides exceptional low frequency impact. It can be used singly, stacked or flown via integral M10 insets and features a long-excursion 18” (460mm)/3” (75 mm) voice coil driver in a compact reflex enclosure. Its four reflex ports have a large frontal area to reduce turbulent air noise at very high levels.

The loudspeaker shall be a compact subwoofer consisting of one 18” reflex-loaded, long-excursion, low frequency transducer.
The on-axis frequency response shall be 42Hz-150kHz +/- 3dB and the loudspeaker shall produce a maximum SPL of 137dB peak calculated at 1 metre. Power handling shall be 500W AES, 2000W peak. Rated impedance shall be 8 ohms. The rear connector panel shall be fitted with three NL4 type connectors and the loudspeaker shall be operated in conjunction with a dedicated electronic controller.
The enclosure shall be made from plywood and finished with a black textured paint. Optional white and RAL colour finishes shall be available to special order. The enclosure shall be fitted with a pole-mount socket and M10 threaded inserts for eyebolt suspension. Provision shall be made for the fitment of castors and the drivers shall be protected by a perforated steel grille.
Dimensions (W x H x D) including feet shall be 530mm x 669mm x 640mm (20.9in x 26.3in x 25.2in). Weight shall be 33kg (72.7lbs).
