With its stylish black-and-copper color scheme and compact body, the ESI cosMik 10 is an attractive and affordable studio microphone for vocalists, musicians, and podcasters. Utilizing a 1" large-diaphragm condenser capsule, the cosMik 10 offers a 30 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response and a high maximum SPL of 135 dB, making it well suited for an array of instruments as well as the human voice.
The circuitry in the cosMik 10 helps it maintain ultralow self-noise performance (just 5 dBA), so your recordings will be free of the hiss commonly induced by many budget microphones. Being a condenser, the microphone runs on standard 48V phantom power. Getting ready to record is simple; position the cosMik 10 in the included mic holder and tabletop tripod stand, connect it to your preamp or interface with the supplied XLR cable, and engage +48V from your preamp/interface.
